  • Good and bad on the same day.

First, the good. Yesterday had to pick up my daughter from school. My DD (04 GP GTP) was in the shop for a antilock brake module replacement. HAD to take the vert. Well, leaving her school and what pulls out right in front of me but a 2011 5.0 Mustang vert. Ironically, same color combo, dark blue with black top. The guy thought he was a bad ass but i could tell he wasn't a master at driving a stick. Finally got up next to him and away we went from a low roll. Had 3 cars on him by the top of 2nd gear (A4). Gave him a big old smile when he stopped next to me at the light. Of course he turned at the light. Life is good.
Second, the bad. Got the cover out, parked the car close to the garage wall, put the cover on, and today took off all of the insurance except for the comp. Yes, its now officially put away for the winter. We did manage to go out in a blaze of glory, though. Wait till next year!!
When in doubt, Whip it out !

Just 3.73 gears, 2800 rpm converter, hand held tune, SSRA air intake, lid, and Flowmaster cat back. According to my Gtech it runs 12.80's at 108 mph. Motor has never had valve covers off. bone stock. I am really impressed how well it runs. It still gets almost 20mpg in town when I stay out of the throttle.
