      I agree.

I think the cars with T56 are the ones that have flattened and are going to go up. I look at cars all the time and you just cant find a half way decent T56 car for under 5 grand. Auto's seem to be much cheaper. Not hatin, just stating what I have seen on CL and Autotrader.

I couldnt agree more. They are the rarest by far. Then will come TTop cars and then coupes. V6 cars are doomed however.

ttops being of a more sot after car but a 6speed hard top i think draws more money because of its rarity. i havnt seen as many hard top z's let alone with 6speeds then i have with ttops. but thats my personal take on it.

more people want ttops but the right buyer will pay more for a hard top.

i actually agree w/ fred there. i think the hard tops will be hard to find in the future. there arent many around in the first place and quite a few of them have been converted to t-top.

naa, just because something is hard to find and rare doesnt mean its worth more.

find a MINT v6 car...they still arnt worth as much.

I am a TTop fanatic though, I am biased.

I didnt say worth more, but they certainly will not be worth less. There are people that want hardtops for the same reason you and I want crank windows... which i suspect might be another desireable option due to its rarity and benefit of not having sh*tty motors.

Negative, Ghostrider...you need to look at them as "collectable"...for the hard-core "driver", you would be correct...for the "collector", he'll want to drop the top and row the gears himself...

And going forward, "collectors" determine the value of the vehicle...not the drivers...

Y'know, that's actually a good question (and, no, I'm not going looking for the answer tonight), but I would wager that one of the most popular 4th gens out there is a SOM 'vert with a 6-speed...and I'd also wager that there are even fewer SOM hard top 6-speeds...but which one will be more valuable going forwards?

                    It's an easy answer...the 'vert...

i do very much agree with you, but i think hardtops will pull more then a ttop car with the right buyer just based on options and some guy on barret jackson who says "wow thats rare let it sit in my collection for years"

but for your average joe yes more money will be spent on verts because of the fun factor in cruising down M-1 rippin gears.

I agree with you...but it's gonna take two bidders who realize what they're looking at and both want it...and maybe more particularly, how it's advertised...

You need to advertise it as an exotic...Hemmings...DuPonts...and find that discriminating collector...you won't sell it in the local RV Trader...

and right behind it would be a t-top SOM with a 6 speed.

all the odd colors, BGM, BPM, GSM, and BBM will be the collectors cars I think. Its too bad they never made a M6 BBM TA.
