  • I made em smile

Drove my z28 to work today. On my way home, had the top down, stereo up, life was good. Was stopped at a light and there was 2 young guys next to me in the left turn lane. The passenger told me to "burn em". I just smiled back. When the light turned green, I rolled into the intersection and at about a 10 roll, nailed the gas and burned the tires across the intersection and squaked em good going into second, even got a little sideways. Gotta believe I made a couple of new F Body fans.
When in doubt, Whip it out !

Nice! I had a similar situation yesterday. Was at discount tire getting the free air check, when the kid was done he asked me to light em up when I left.. I said i don't know, don't want to scare the guys in the garage, he said they won't mind.. That was all I needed, cooked em up in the parking lot leaving.. lol

I don't know, am I different? I hardly ever see anybody beating on a fast car. Me, its almost like I look for the opportunities. If I don't get a good shot going into second gear at least every 10 minutes of driving, I feel deprived.

You're no different from me.. lol Sometimes when I go for I ride I am proud of myself when all I did was cruise and not beat the crap out of my car... I figure what's the point of having a semi fast car if you don't enjoy it!!!

LOLLLL ^^ but it's true though almost everytime I see a fast car it's either going the limit or slower. I'm guilty of this too but I have to open her up at least once before I put her away for the night!

Op, I love making someones day like that too sometimes. I also get a fuzzy feeling inside when driving in the neighborhood and little kids start oooing and ahhhing at my TA

I find myself doing this every once and a while . However when someone says "let's see some smoke" I usually respond with "start up your car"

I just ran to the store to buy gin... Got home and wife says, why don't you get tonic.. I said, OK, let's go.. So we back out the driveway and the urge to mat the gas just hit me.. lol So I cooked em down the road.. My wife was like, "Was that really necessary?" My response, "YES"...
