    I know what he is talking about. My point was that elbows in general are a no-no. Air doesn't like taking turns, ask a reputable head porter.

        remember moving to a single plain will kill your low end torque completely. I guess with a SR setup though you guys are more worried about flowing up top though.

          who ported your intake? Mine is still making power at 7600+ rpm But I do totally agree about the flooding issue

            No, were not to worried about bottom end in this build. I hate my 6 speed, and miss the ability to fall back on a converter, lol. Anybody have a good link to what all has to be modified on the intake? And what intake to use to start with? Do we have the same intake bolt pattern as the 86 and up small blocks? Thanks Eric L

              bolt pattern has to be changed. dist hole has to be plugged. thermostat hosuing cut and welded
