  • No cruise control..96 Z

After we installed my new clutch I learned my cruise control no longer works.

I was wondering if you guys know what connection and in what location on the T56 controls my cruise control?

I really want to start driving my car to work more often but have to have the CC

    thanks!

There should be nothing on the trans that has anything to do with CC. Only the brake pedal and clutch pedal switches under the steering column.

Check ALL of the fuses FYI the Cruise and AC share a fuse. Also check grounds since you had the transmission out. Sorry I never assume people check the simple things so don't be offended if you've already done so.

It is also possible you may have one of the pedal switches out of adjustment. Clutch pedal has one switch and brake pedal usually has two switches one is normally open and the other is normally closed.

^^^^^^^^ What he said. FWIW, I swaped a TH350 into my 94. Nothing but the speed sensor was used, and my cruise worked fine. No trans functions control cruise. Eric L

If I could find the right wiring diagram for this car I could tell you how to check the module for the voltages and signals. Our 97 and older online service manuals don't have cruise control wiring diagrams. Does anyone know if the cruise is wired the same as the 98's?
