  • Stalling @ WOT

Have had this problem occur twice, now. The car is completely warmed up, I have the running-lights on & the radio on. Just driving normal, then I hit WOT to pass, then the car stalls. I saw all the gages sweep right then left, both times it happened. When we dropped the 383 in we replaced the ground strap & the major electronics. Seems like a ground issue or a ignition-control-module problem, but I checked both of those & couldn't find anything wrong. Anyone have any suggestions?

Very first thing I checked was the battery terminals. I also checked the connection at the starter, while I was under it checking the grounds.

the gauges cycling indicates a power issue

Finally tracked it down. Got 1/4 turn on the small ground on the top of the block, just under the head & above the starter. Made a HUUUUGE difference on how she runs ... & I modded my TPS to fit the stroker & TB, it's reading correct for the computer .... Thanks for all your suggestions, though.
