that may be so but that doesnt mean just go blindly replacing them. My motormounts have 100k miles on them, many of which endured my abuse and 370rwhp.... and my headers (which are exactly the same as TJs) fit just fine.Originally posted by 1slo_camaro View Post
the trick to getting them in is to undo one motor mount at at time and tip the engine side to side. Its very easy to do, the only difficult part is achieving that small 'threshold' with the floor jack where the engine is niether resting on, nor lifting on the mount so that the bolt can slide out.-Joel

yea ive always had a problem so now i just have the person im doing the headers for just spend the 20 bucks and get a new set of mounts. just my .02 im not saying mine is the only advice out there lol ya know. just my experience. with BBK, Pacesetter, Hooker, and some off brand.94 V6 A4>>>>LT1 M6>>>>>>383 M6 13.1 @ 109 2.2 60' Sold/Stripped

Got them on. Ran the car for like 5 seconds and mmmmm I creamed my little school boy pants. Only problem now is over the valve cover wires. I just got a set of MSD wires with the headers but they are so tight can't zip tie them away, well I'll try tomorrow but pretty sure they aren't gonna make it, so thats why I only ran it for like 5 seconds plus its 11 at night hahaha.
Tomorrow I am gonna start marking up my 3in exhaust with cut outs hope that goes well.

Also I didn't even touch the motor mounts.
