  • 3800ho?

    my intake says 3800ho and everyone keeps telling me they didnt come with a ho in 96. anyone have any info on this motor

    my 96 camaro was a 3800. 1996 is the first year for this.

    also the crappiest, Damn plugs are a pain to replace.

        It's just a regular 3800, Different injectors, different Exhaust, fuel rails, intake i think. they changed a bunch of things. i have a 2000 3800

          Thats weird, I have never heard of a 3800 HO. Is that on your intake plenum?

            x2, never heard of it. Throw up a picture so we can see exactly what this is. Also, the 3800 was available in mid late 95, but became standard in 96

                    Picture please as there was no such thing as a 3800HO unless someone took one of the test intakes from GM and installed it on a car. But those test intakes were not the greatest from the pics I have seen of the ones an employee of GM was selling.

                              That's awesome... and not surprising all at the same time. People will do anything to try and squeeze a few bucks out of their car to say it's more rare.
