Fyi you won't need to worry about the EGR being blocked off throwing a CEL, but the AIR still will I think.

Honestly I just got creative with some zip-ties and i flipped one of the fuel-line mounts over to give me more clearance. I havent had a problem without shielding but i should probably add some anyway ... lol. This is why i carry a fire extinguisher at all times! if you can do the even the most basic fab work you can make your own block off plates. I made all of mine out of sheetmetal. Just use the gasket that is already there as a template, and then reuse that gasket with the block off plates you make.-Joel
