  • got the new y pipe made!

well a few days after the meet n great my exhaust got ripped off cause the car was so low, i knew it was gonna happend and planned on raising the car but it happend before i could lol.

so now i got my new suspension on, just some low low mile decarbons up front and stock springs all around, i hate the look but i wanna drive my car as much as possible this year cause i hate paying to have it set.

heres a pic of the new y pipe, i had to wait a week for an account threw my work since he was backed up,but he did great work and it took him like 30 mins.

its 3 inch to a flowmaster merge 4 inch out
one pic it looks like its touching the body but its now plenty of clearance the rest of the mufflex catback will be going on today!

The Y looks great . Just one quick question : If you already have it run back on both sides of the trans., why not make it a true duel? (instead of merging the pipes before the diff.)

the pipes merge at the tail of the trans yes but they merge just as factory basically, ive been down the true duals road a few times and never had many problems, im just trying something different. also with true duals its kind of hard to make them go over the axle on each side, ive made a set that ran over the pass side like a factory pipe would but then you run into banging on big bumps ect,but i had good luck with the set i made.

and as for flow im sure the 4inch will be plenty, not the same flow as two 3 inch pipes but close.

if anyones curious about rasp there wasnt any before and with the flowmaster merge the chances are even greater of none existing

ill have more pics tomorrow kinda got rained out today
