The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Wow, these LT1s are horrible for changing the plugs. It takes me like 15 minutes to change plugs on a car if that. This car took me 2 hours to change 6 plugs!!!! Jesus Christ! They are horrible to reach!

Guess its you. Took me 45 minutes on a buddies car. I didnt' think they weren't that bad. Not as bad as some I've seen out there. I've done cars where you've had to disconnect engine mounts and rock the engine.

Never did an LT1, but I can tell you an LS1 is not any fun either.. I finally learned the secret last year.. I can change mine in 30 minutes or so now...
o yes, you have to love changing plugs on our motors! iv changed mine 4 times within 200 miles on my new motor.. it sucks, but owell. drivers side is really easy but passenger.. not so much..

x2 i couldnt imagine how much fun a stock ls1 would be lol with all the air and egr crap on the pass side. i can change mine in about 30mins as well now. removeing the pass side coil packs make it 100x easier

I don't think it's that bad, but then again I'm pretty skinny. Pass. rearmost plug is removed easiest from the bottom.
I break the hard ones loose with the ratchet and then attach a broken plug boot to the plug to unscrew it and screw it back in.. Works like a top on all the hard plugs... I do em all from the top..
I've got fat hands and I can do them all easily from the top just gotta climb up onto the battery and reach back there. Once I start spraying I'll bet I can do them in 10 mins.
