  • That T-top piece, thinking about rattle canning it

So, Im currently working on like 4 different project for the camaro. But I noticed its only like 8 screws to pull out the little middle bar between the T-tops, and mine is pretty baked. Has been since I owned the car.

I have tried polishing compounds, waxes so on so forth to clear it up but no such luck.

I am fairly comfortable in my skills with a rattle can, I was thinking about sanding it down and redoing it with some high quality spray paint.

    What do you guys think?

If you take your time, it should look very good! Good Luck.

rattle can should be good, id suggest putting a coat or two of clear on top of it just to make it a lil more shinny and protected. than you can polish it too

The edges of my t-tops were faded, so I hit them with some black trim paint. It's amazing what kind of difference it makes, and it only took about 5 minutes including taping.

I had another one ready to go into my Camaro (3rd gen), and I had it rattlecanned with flat black anti-rust paint. It still looks really good (for some reason I still have it...).
