Finished doing some work on my car today!
After about two months, i have gotten my rust holes repaired, new carpet in, headers in that i bought from icepick (thanks again), and installed my 3.23 gears. During the header install, i removed the emissions (Air/EGR). After all of this fun, my car now has a surge at cruising speed and very lightly on acceleration. I do not have a SES light on, and other than that, the car seems to run fine. Is this something that a tune would fix or will it clear up after running it for a while. It also has some old gas, could that cause the surge?I hope you guys can help as this is stumping not only me, but my dad also and that is what making me nervous as he is an ASE certified master mechanic of 28 years.
My dad even told me to check the spark plugs after we got done, and, well you know how kids are! "God, how many times you gonna tell me to check the plug wires. I already did!"
