i love my gears there quite when i was told by detroit speed to expect some noise and they made my car alot of fun.... kills ss's and vettes from the lights and the best part is it makes mustangs look even more stupidly slow...

              today i took a buddie's uncles mach 1 by 3 cars before 55

the tranny mounts for the most part are universal and an easy job alot of f bodys ive done you dont have to unbolt anything but the mount itself just jack up the trans and unbolt it they keep them in stock at autozone and murrays... as for motor mounts go to murrays they keep energy suspension and a few other nice polyerathane mounts in stock in there sbc dress up section i noticed they had like 4 or 5 different styles of mounts at mine. if not even a stock rubber one will normally outlast the life of the car, they usually only go bad by swapping motors in and out alot..

i just replaced my trans mount and motor mounts it looked like the motor mounts were bad because it shifted so much but it was the trans mount ripped right in half that caused the engine to move so much

                      LT1 Ypipe won't work.
Got my Poly. Motor mounts at Detroit Speed Shop in 1 day
Trans mount I picked up at Pepboys
                      Total cost about $70
Took 5 hours to put the driver side mount on, still havent done the passenger one yet. But they say that one is easier.
Car has alot more vibration under acceleration esp. hard acceleration
But you get used to it.
