  • My past few days

I know these mods have all been done before but I was so happy with all of the results I just had to share it with my F-body family.

-So I picked up a taillight panel a few weeks ago for $20 and went to town on it. I spent two days getting it prepped and painted. I used a few rattle cans of primer and Gloss Black, I did not however put any clear coat on even though I bought a can.

now i am in need of some chrome fill in letters.

i also recieved a pair of turn signals that I tinted.

    final result

Overall I am happy, I spent alot of time yesterday putting fog lights in and installing the turn signals and taillight panel. What I didn't take pictures of was the floor mats that Kevin (Ktl71) gave me last week and the rear of the car with the top down which makes the panel look luch better.

I plan to tint the rear turn signals as well to even out the look

Looks good. Now tint your windows, drop the car, and get some wheels and it will look really good. Good job man

Looking good, nice work. How does the lights look turned on? Mine had some spider cracks in it, probably cause they are so much older.

Clear/wetsand/polish/wax the tails after niteshade, should make them look a lot better.

I didn't do anything to the front turn signals such as clear, wax...because The first time I did the clear over it it completely ruined the tint. I think there must have been lacquer in it or something. But when the signals dried up they were actually pretty shiny.

I'll try to post pictures of the signals lit up when it is nicer outside.

Looks great. I have black turn signals also but they arent on the car. I like them better that come normal black, not the tinted ones. But yours looks good. Nice work with the tail light panel.... I think it looks better w/o the rear fill-ins..but thats just me

Thanks everyone. I'm shooting for some cheapo chrome vinyl decals to fill in those letters. I'm working on a headlight trade right now cause that would definitely freshen things up.

Looking good. Figure a way to shoot clear on those signals...
