    Ticking noise from passenger front wheel area

    ok I have a ticking noise coming from the passenger front wheel well. To best describe the noise over the internet is like taking your finger nail and tapping on the wall,table what ever. Tics about every 1/2 second. When I push the brake down it goes away, but comes back shortly after.

    This started happening like a month ago but has went away and came back.

    I dont have time till Friday to take a look at..any ideas?

    My brakes and rotors have approx 5189 miles on them. Calipers 17,497 (give a take a couple miles off of estimates, but really close)..dont know if these would be the issue?

    Change with speed or direction? I'd check out wheel bearings!

      One of your pistons in the caliper could be hung up. your brake pads should be fine. Most probable cause is a wheel bearing.

        yea it usually increases the tick when i speed up..so wheel bearing i`ll take a look at if i get to it which i should..any other ideas?

            Sounds stupid but make sure your wheel lugs are all really tight aswell.

              Yea lugs are tight. I have no where to work on Yoshi no more (cant work @ Trishas parents house being how her dad..banned? me lol), so today..taking it to the shop and letting them go to town. Also getting my front shocks replaced. They still have the de-carbons I think they are called? On there..230K..oh yea I think they are beyond shot. Been needing replacing for some time now.
