I have a Bose Cassette deck and I am looking for a Bose CD player. Reason why is I don't want to have the car rewired for a aftermarket deck. Anyone know where I can get one? I did Car-Part.com and some places wanted 450 dollars!

Yupp apparently CrutchField has this http://www.crutchfield.com/p_142C4GM...r.html?tp=3486
Which says you can hook up after market CD players to original Bose wiring. Anyone know about these?

Can't you just buy a connector with bare wires that plugs into the factory harness? They're like $5 at Wal-mart, Meijer, O'Reilly's... It's what I've got in mine.

Why not just by the wiring harness that is plug and play with the factory wiring? Thats all I do to run aftermarket headunits. There like $7 at Auto Zone.

I have a Bose Stereo. The Bose speakers use low level inputs and amplify the sound at each speaker. Doing that will make the stereo extremely loud. Accoding to using that harness it will allow it to adjust the gain from the head unit to the speakers.

I know the Bose Gold system in our old '96 SS blows away the Monsoon that's in the 2002.

yeah that's what was in my '95. It was all pretty simple. No extensive prior wiring experience needed.
