  • New Cam Installed!!! (Video)

I recently installed a new cam. The cam was custom spec'd by Patrick G on LS1tech and was ground by Engine Power Systems. The specs are 230/234 .600”/.602” 112LSA +4 advance. It has the new EPS lobes which are supposed to make good power while being easier on the valvetrain. This cam is replacing my old TR224 that I sold to sman. I replaced my Comp 918's with PAC1518's and I also needed to use longer pushrods (7.425").

The car fired right up and I was surprised at how well it idles on my TR224 tune. I still need to istall my new injectors (Bosch III - 36 lbs) and a hotwire kit for my fuel pump. Once that is complete I am taking it to Baker Engineering for the tuning. I was hoping to have all this completed by the middle of April but I just found out this week that I will be traveling for work the next few weeks.

I took some crappy video's using my phone. One with the cutout closed and one with it open. The quality sucks but it was the best I had available at the time:

I knew that but thanks for the reminder. I am taking my computer to Baker's before I swap injectors. This way I dont need to trailer my car there to get tuned.
