EVI can't change my tune because it's locked? Can anyone help?

    Yeah, I'd be pissed too dude - locking tunes is shitty.

        Phil just emailed me, said there is no way around it. Pretty much have to replace the PCM or get the info from the previous tuner to unlock it.

            its just an old technique tuners used to use to keep other tuners from stealing their "secrets" and I'm sure it kept you going to the same person/shop as well.

              FROST on LS1tech is able to flash your PCM back to stock if you send it to him. It might be cheaper than buying a new one.

                Yeah you will need to flash your PCM or buy a stock one and have it tuned.

                      Yep, Ed wright tuned mine before I bought it.. Locked tight for the reason you stated..

                        I posted a copy of the dyno sheet but its so small you can barely read it. Waiting to hear back from Stan at EVI, he might be able to send my PCM to another guy that can flash it. We'll see, thanks for all the help peeps!

                            **UPDATE** Stan at EVI is getting the issue taken care of (swapping my PCM for another) so he can tune it! I will update next week with the new numbers and graph! I'm sooo geeked!!!

                                Yeah I didn't doubt they would take care of me, I just thought since it was out of their hands that I was screwed. Thankfully they went out of their way to find a solution. THANKS EVI!
