  • EVI can't change my tune because it's locked? Can anyone help?

I have my car up at EVI so Stan could put 4.10's in it and tweak the tune. They put it on the dyno to see what it would put down now and it hit 422rwhp/412rwtq which is good. Problem is the guy who tuned it with HP Tuners before supposedly locked the tune. Now my speedo will be off because of the gear and its running rich so he said there is more power to be had. Any way to get around this? I don't know a lot about tuning so I need help! What are my options? Who could unlock it for me?

Update...New numbers after EVI dyno tune 436RWHP and 413 RWTQ and also now with 4.10 gear. This thing runs STRONG!!!
I will get a copy of the new dyno graph up soon.

I'm in waterford, not sure how far that is. I was hoping someone local could do it so I can get it done quick. Why are some able to get into locked PCMs and some aren't? I'm so frustrated right now!

With HPTuners, when a tune is locked only the interface that locked it can unlock it. The only ways to get around this that I know of are using a seed/key cracking program or pull the flash chip off the PCM and reprogram it.

phil uses HP and can get in most of them. some require a stock reflash then retune. If not it will need a new pcm
