Looking to block off the ports for the secondary air on the exhast manifolds and probably the EGR as well. I know my air pump or something to do with the secondary air system is bad and while i am removing that i thought i would ditch the egr. I know i will have to get a tune to remove the codes.

Thats where I ordered mine, but ended up just putting Lt-1 gasket on my EGR because the ticking was 10x worse with the block off plate on and it kept turning along with the screw so it took forever to line up.sigpic

Ok i made one side yesterday, it went ok except for my bench grinder kept getting the alum. stuck on the wheel. I found some alum. landscaping stakes i had laying around and used one of them. they are just over 1/8" thick and i reused the gaskets since they seemed to be in good shape. thanks for the advise. Not sure if i will do the egr or not. I hear sometimes you lose a little mpg, is this true and is there any benifit to removing it?
