Random Missfire V6 Code 300

So, my new bird is turning up with the same problem my 97 had when I traded it in 6 years ago, Random missfire (code 300). It seems to be a common problem on the V-6's? Tried a search here, couldn't find anything. So I'm assuming plugs and wires, maybe coils?

of course thats always a great place to start and if that doesnt fix the problem you have to move to insure your getting proper amount of fuel as well. i had the problem for a small while but some injector cleaner actually took care of it for me but thats a long story why i was having that problem....
