  • Looking for some input/ideas.....please help! :)

Ok,soooo I've decided to switch from import and muscle to strictly muscle! I am putting my Talon TSi awd up for sale. My plans for the money are to pay off my T/A and put the rest of the money into the two fbody's. I'm looking to spend around $1,500.00 per car for this year. Let me give you all a rundown of the cars...
First up: my 1997 Pontiac Trans Am LT1 4L60e. Car is stock. Has a shift kit and flowmaster exhaust from what I have been told. I ran a 14.5 at milan back in october.
    Next up: Jords 1994 Chevy Camaro Z28 LT1 4L60. Car has a full k&n intake, 2 1/2in exhaust,no cats,with a 40 series flowmaster. He ran a 13.9 at milan in October.
I'm looking for the most performance and horsepower/torque gains I can get for the $1,500.00 per car. I'm open to all suggestions and ideas so feel free to leave your input. Like I said,I'm new to gm and particularly the likes/dislikes of the LT1 motors,so any help is greatly appreciated!
Also, any links, phones numbers etc are appreciated as well!

Longtubes, Y-pipe, Heads, Cam. Not exactly sure how much LT1 parts are but they can't be as much as LSX parts.

      Used to own a Firebird.

Converters, trans coolers, and tires for both cars... By far the best ET gain and the most fun you will have with the cars.

X3 on the converter, best bang for buck, and by the seat of the pants meeter, made the biggest difference in the car. Talk to Ridings!

The funny thing about converters is for every 50 people you tell that to only 1 of them is going to listen it seems

that kinda do add HP if you thing about it.
with a stock vertor you may be way down in the tq or hp curve for a long time. with a nice convertor its like adding hp cause you are always at a point of more power

converter and tires, nothing else you buy for that price will ever make the car go faster down the 1320.
                    Doing less with more
