need opinions on whats wrong with my ls1 engine

everytime it rains or snows my engine misfires and stalls constantly, i dont know whats causing it but i could use some info, i am gonna start tearing the engine apart to make sure nothing is broken

Plug wires.

With the motor running get a spray bottle filled with water and start wetting the wires down and I bet you will recreate the exact symptoms you are describing.

i strongly agree amd soapy water works even better or you can just grab the wires while its running im sure youll know which ones are bad

plug wires, make sure the cowl seal is on and the pcm isnt getting wet, check the air filter for wetness also

car wont start now, put new wires on still wont start

if it was missing the plugs are probably toast
was the MIl flashing during your stallin/missing?

no and i just replaced the plugs last week too

i know the light flashes when it misfires but it hasnt been flashing and the maf is clean

unsure now cause it wont start but my o2 sensors will act up sometimes when its wet. car wouldnt idle right and would throw a cel. id delete it and all would be good

Alright well 02 sensors only get used when the car hits closed loop and will not cause a no start. A car will still run with a dirty/bad maf sensor but it'll run like crap. It's starting to sound like you need to get a scanner on it to check all your sensor ranges and see if there operating correctly. Check fuel pressure also or atleast listen to hear the pump kick on. How many miles are on the car?

i thought it might have been the fuel pump but i checked it yesterday and its working good, i came to the conclusion that the wires are good cause like you guys said if the car is misfireing the engine light would be flashing and it wasnt so something else is causing it to not start, i'm gonna change the plugs again today, things i'm guessing on would be the crank sensor, the computer, or the coil packs, it could also be the fuel injectors, cause it sounds to me like it wasn't misfiring but starving for gas i don't know. one thing is i tried to start it again and all i can smell is gas, very rich smell too, does that mean anything?

hold the gas pedal to the floor and try to start it, the injectors may be dumping fuel and that will kick the computer into a flood mode where the injectors don't fire only the coils will.
