Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
What do you think? I will be modding a spoiler I just got off eBay. Removing that big square of red plastic really cleans up the lines, in my opinion...

I like it either way, but keep in mind that it is state law that you have a third brake light. Will you get a ticket for it? probably not, but it's nice to not break the vehicle code when it's not necessary. Like SoulTerror said, "too many dumbasses"
An extra brake light is a good thing to have these days. To many people not thinking about what they are doing while they are driving. They are on there cell phones and texting while driving and not paying attention.Had a personin the car beside me the other day sitting at a red light on his phone and the light never changed and he just drove right thru a red light before it changed?

Anything '86 and newer has come with a CHMSL. They made the law for MY86, which is why the '86 Fbodies have the third brake light slapped onto the rear hatch, whereas it is integrated in the spoiler in '87 and on.
Gone but not forgotten: 1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z
Actually I think the law is nationwide come to think of it. It's weird though because our old 92' GMC Suburban never had one. Maybe you could rig it up to where you can shave it off then relocate it by putting a LED strip on the inside towards the top of your hatch.
