removing oil pump

anyone know the best way to remove the 10mm bolt on the pickup tube? plz help

what are you trying to do? cam change? no reason to take the valley cover off.
to remove the pick up with the oil pan on use a box end wrench to break it free then turn in out with your fingers

You can also make a slipknot with some fishing line and get it around the bolt before you turn it all the way out with your fingers, that way you can still "fish" it out of the oil pan if you drop it.

ya i was told i can get to the lifters by taking the valley cover off but i found out the hard way my uncle broke both knock sensors 50 bucks each. thanks for the replies
