can't figure out how to start a thread. anyways, my 02 camaro broke down. the ignition lights all flash like when you start the car, then all gauges except oil pressure dies. i was fine with that, but eventually the car started to miss and i had no fuel pressure. I changed the pumps, drove for approximately 100 miles and it started symptom #1 and then no fuel pressure again.

Hey Eric,
I created a new thread for you from your post. When you go to an individual forum there's a button to create a new thread.
As for your issue - is it ALL the lights on the gauge cluster or is it only the Security light? In some ways it sounds like you're having VATS issue because the VATS will turn off the fuel pump if it's not getting the correct security reading.- Brian Meissen

relay
i swapped the fuel relay with one that had the same numbers on it and nothing changed. battery is good. All the lights on the cluster blink, as if the key was turned. If the car is not running then it would try to start itself, it stops when i touch the brake pedal. i dont think my security light is on. would that matter?
i now have too much fuel pressure. i made that trap door with a dremel. the pump blew the hose off inside the tank. i replaced it and when i start it's ok for a second and then it spikes to 75psi. koeo 50psi at idle 75Last edited by ckkhiller; January 19th, 2010, 01:31 PM.
