I talked to Andrew at AKM and it sounds like his USB cable and driver is windows 7 conpatible and he is testing his cable and datamaster/tunercat on windows 7 this week, so more info will come. But it sounds like its going to work out ok. I have the latest version of tunercats but an older (3.4.1) version of datamaster, so we will see how that goes. I already have tunercats working with windows 7, but I havent programed anything yet. Ill keep ya all updated. Thanks for all the help guys. Eric L

I can definitely confirm AKM and Datamaster work perfectly fine on Windows 7 because I've been using it on Windows 7. A nice little trick with Windows 7 is the trial version of DataMaster never expires... every time you run it you have 19 recordings left.

Thats good to know Brian, but you dont have to worry about that anymore, lol. Check out that version of datamaster I sent you and tell me if yours is any newer. I know mine was 3.4.1. And Jay, I thought about doing that, but for $30 shipped, Andrew from AKM will give me a new converter box and USB cable, so I think im going that way. Just waiting to hear from Andrew weather or not Tunercat works with windows 7 and his USB drivers. Hes pretty positive it will, but time will tell. Eric L
