i think ive changed the driver side one last summer. And it never stalled and did throw a code.

try disconnecting your 02 sensors. it will throw a code, but run open loop. IE itll run like crap but shouldnt stall, just to see if thats the prob.

yeah i was just gonna say o2 sensor, i had the same problem with my car turning left across 131 to go to work and my shit stalled, many other times too but that was the scariest, then i got a new o2 sensor and haven't had the problem since

it doesn't take 20 minutes to go into open loop. 2 minutes tops with HEGO's(o2's) Sounds like a fuel pump.. I have seen hundreds die after they get hot. They still run but pump no volume. You have already found your problem when you said the fuel pressure drops to 7 psi. A plugged filter would always be low PSI
Fuel pressure should be 48-54

I'm thinkin its the pump now too. Which pisses me off. If thats the case I'll just spend the extra $200 that I shoulda spent in the first place and stick with the stock pump and get the whole assembly along with it. And say F Walbro.

I have also seen the zip tube fall off or spring a leak after an aftermarket pump has ben installed. The factory are clamped on and the after market just have a screw clamp, but that would not cause a heat sensitive issue.
No fuel pump likes being ran with less than a 1/4 tank

One question. What pump is it? 99+ have a plastic tank and have a bucket that needs to be cut when using an aftermarket pump. If its not cut the pump sucks the bucket dry. The racetronics and factory pumps have a siphon fitting on them that fills the bucket

not sure, all i know is that when my mechanic installed it, he had to get on the phone with ZZPerformance and they had to explain to him how to rig it to get it to work. My question is if that was even the problem, then why did it run fine for 7 months with no problems, but then starts acting up after i left it at the body shop for 2 weeks.

I missed that it had been fine for that long-sorry.
I would say its the pump. I have seen many do the same thing.
You may get a code a code P0171 and P0174 after a while due to a lack of fuel and the engine being lean

Ok just went to AutoZone to scan my car from that one code my car pulled the one time it stalled. and..

P0300 Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected

Would that have anything to do with the problem that I am having. Even causing the Fuel Pressure to drop down to 7 psi?

Well, not getting enough fuel to you engine would cause it to run lean and cause misfire. If your fuel pressure is dropping, which it shouldn't, it's either the pump or vapor lock in your fuel line. Doesn't happen much anymore on new cars, but if you have a line loose and close to any hi temp component, it could still happen

Take it to a GM dealer you trust and have them diagnos it. Autozone scans suck. My moms Audi had a problem and all they could say was what code it was and that it was a "fuel problem". No details. You might spend 30-40 bucks having them diagnos it, but at least you can fix exactly what's wrong.

Ok well if its Fuel pump again, Does Walbro sell the pump for our car in the complete assembly? Or just the pump itself again so that I have to rig it all to make it work.
