  • Brian 1994Form's LPP Install

Derek contacted me and asked if I would do a header install for one of his friends that is on the site.

I took it and managed to get it done last night around 9ish.

These fit WAY better than what Mike's did.
So good in fact all I had to do was grind the steering nuckel down a bit.

I will say I'm not fond of how they are routed but nothing I can do about that
They surround the Oil Filter as well as the Starter to where I could just get the short bolt in.

Didn't get any under body pics, sorry.

    So her are the pics

doubt it. he lives in allendale and we have to button up a few things yet so I doubt he was driving out there. Its a bone stock looking formula with the silver 5 spoke wheels like you have.

Good job, Kyle! I'm happy to hear about the fitment of these LPPs. I couldn't believe the difference between the 1st time we installed my LPPs and then the 2nd time after the spun bearings. All my clearance I had on the first one was gone and now my headers practically rest on the k-frame. IMHO, I think the motor mounts and trans mount have a lot to do with it... that, or how much the exhaust pulls down on the end of the headers.

                      Anyway, good work Kyle!

Stage 8 header bolts RULE! Still not enough to fix my header leak, but very nice.

I'm just amazed at how different this install went over Mike's.
But like Mike and I talked about it was probably a little bit to do with the car.

When I finished I had the motor all the way up and down with no clearance problems.

I was quite surprised that the big 7/16 head on the stage 8 bolts cleared the primary's, made it a lot better.
