  • Big Block in a 94 z28

So I've been considering an engine swap because i can't ****ing stand my LT1. and I have a guy interested in my engine. and i have a friend with a 454 that hes trying to move, so..yeah. i figure perfect time to do something that i have yet to hear of. if anyone has heard of this being done or knows if the engine will fit in my 94 Z28.

It's been done before but I can't remember the links. Two good places to look would be CamaroZ28.com and the old school section on LS1Tech.com.

ive seen a 454 in a g8 with no exterior mods...(stock hood)..so i would think it may be possible.

the first one seems like only a race car, if he is wanting to keep it streetable I am thinking the second would be his best way to go, but he is talking about a 454 BBC not a 427 SBC..

I don't know who made them but im sure it was GMMG, but i know there was some ZL1 4th gens with big blocks so i know its possible but its probably not worth the hassle. Espcialy when there are lots of cubes to be had with ls1's.
