    Fbody bad luck time

    well the trans went poopy, well not all, when i let it sit for a few hours i can atleast get it out of the driveway, top speed 15mph WOOT whats weird is theres a huge vibration in overdrive and i can go forward in neutral....

    and its slips majorly but thats a given. lol Looks like im putting her away and ill play with it in the winter since theres nothing else to do ha. i was just hoping it would of atleast lasted me till today so i could take it up north and drop it in storage but i cant do that now

      I'd shoot Mike (?) a call over at Ridings Automatics! I know a few people who have their transmission in their cars and they are damn strong!

                  Sorry to hear about the bad luck! I guess its just a fail year for the fbody's right now! Mine included! Should make for a nice winter project tho!

                    sorry to hear about the bad luck. really does seem to be a bad year for everyone. cant get mine going right. couple friends of mine are having problems too. gonna be a whole lot of winter projects going on by the sounds of it

                      yeah it sucks, I just bought plates and new tires last week to.....
                      I'm more annoyed that im driving the GTP more then anything though lol.

                      poor Z, just couldn't take it anymore, im dropping the subframe and all in the spring and when i do the trans im doing some more motor mods

                        yea that sucks i drove my car maybe a total of 2 weeks and only put 489 miles on the new engine before the trans went out

                          I am just going to wait to put mine on the road until next year, maybe I can avoid all of the problems everyone else is having this year!
