Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

whats the price of the european castrol vs M1? Might have to see if they have 0w-40.
I have a hard enough time finding M1 0w40 though.
For the life of me I can't find one damn receipt that has the price, but I know it's between $6.49 and $6.99 a quart.
As for finding it in 0W-40 I have a hard enough finding it in 0W-30. The ONLY place I've seen sell it by me is AutoZone and sometimes they don't even stock it.
It only comes in 0w-30 IIRC. Also just because it says european formula does NOT make it true GC. True GC will say made in germany on the back, imported for Castrol llc or something below it. If it says euro on the front and made in usa on the back, its not the true "holy grail". Seriously took my valvetrain noise to almost nil.
Also its considered regular syntec, so when autozone runs an oil change special I stock up. Autozone on dort is the ONLY(if you find somewhere else please let me know!) distributor in flint that carries it. And theres a bunch of made in usa mixed with it you kind have to dig. Worth it IMHO, was almost a dollar a quart cheaper than M1 last time I picked it up aswell, although this is not always the case.
Mobil 1 10W-30 on all my cars and trucks. We did a lot of testing on Mobil 1 here at work and it is the best oil on the market for the least amount of aeration (foaming).
We use it at work for all of our Prototype Development Engines on the Dyno that we want to last for a long time.
I use Rottela T 15W-40 in my 71 Camaro (with flat tappet cam) because of the ZDDP additive.
