Can you guys post a pic of the german castrol 0w30? I'm curious what it looks like and why is it such the holy grail? I've heard it being the ultimate oil before - always wondered why.- Brian Meissen

The bottle looks the same as the regular synthetic Castrol oil bottles (black) except is has a big hex filler cap and it says "european formula" on the front and on the back it says Made in Germany.....not for sale outside the United States.Originally posted by meissen View PostCan you guys post a pic of the german castrol 0w30? Soo, why's the 0w30 better than a 5w30? moves faster through the block during cold starts or something?
I think I'm going to go to a heavier weight oil once I run out of my 10w30. Does that ring-restorer additive/ compression restorer actually help, at all, in anyone's opinion or is it just a waste of money?
Used to own a Firebird.

Royal Purple 5W30 and a K&N Oil Filter
That’s funny the Castrol “German Blend” when I worked down at the BMW store all the M cars got BMW specific oil made by castrol. If I remember correctly It was 0W60 for all the m3’s and m5’s. Not that bottle, but castrol does make good stuff, most all BMW’s have all castrol fluids. Just my own two cents.
