Steering Ratios

I was wondering how much of a difference is there between base camaros and the camaros with Y87 and Z28 steering ratios, is it easily noticeable?

Y87 and z28, no idea, but my car was just a base v6 and the jump to a z28 rack was quite noticeable.

Alright, Soon I will be able to get one fairly cheap, but I dont want to do all the work if its not noticeable.

I thought they were super close or the same, but dont quote me on that. Also you'll need an alignment when your done.

Edit: Go see how many turns lock to lock yours is, ill go do mine now.

EDIT: My car appears to be about 2.5 turns lock to lock.

Its a little over 2.5
id go with like 2.75

Thats what i almost was thinking, since my steering seems pretty tight
