Is there a thread that has a list of emissions crap that you can take off and how? i realize that there is most likely one but i cant find it. if there isn't one, what kind of crap can you take off the lt1's and what all is involved. i keep hearing you guys talk about deleting the air pump, egr and such, and i want to know what benefits there are when taking off this. any help will be appreciated.

EGR valve sticks eventually, getting rid of it avoids the issue it will cause when the valve sticks. Honestly, I just deleted the AIR, EGR, and EVAP just because it was less clutter on the engine. In most cases, you can just unbolt and use plugs - like AIR and EGR. EVAP was just a matter of removing the evap fuel line and then removing the solenoid.

most people get rid of air and egr when doing headers, using the "off-raod" headers means they don't have the emission hook-ups to begin with and as Brian stated it cleans up the engine bay nicely.
