Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Let us know how it works - I've never heard overwhelming good reviews of MSD's Optis... I've heard they're about a 50/50 on being better than the AC Delcos.
will do...as of right now i know nothing about acdelco but i like the way they have the freshair lines and stuff dont know if delco does. the timing adjustment. i like they way you plug it in it gets rid of the oem cord that normally plugs into the opti seems to be sealed very well and more heavy duty compared to the gm oem. but i will let you know on performance when i get the throttle body gaskets in 2maro.
Good Christ!! Seems even more than buying the old billet distributor setup for a carb'd car. It still just says cap and rotor to me. Damn, a lot of cash. But, if you can get another 10 years, I would think it's worth it.
ok o well you guys are giving me a beating ill see how it works and let you know....
Believe me, not beating you at all. If anything, it's GMs engineering team for making something that simple cost that much. Then again, I gotta agree with B and say I'd pay double to not have to worry about the problems again, but man. The cost of them. So BA, what you paid is better than stock and will probably work out better for you in the end. Sorry for the shocked attitude in my earlier post.
