  • RPO Code Help

i went through my rpo codes last night, and have a few questions. i decoded all but 5 rpo codes, and cannot find them anywhere. the codes are:GMT, 6HB, 7HB, 8TF, and 9TF. i have searched here, i have searched the web, and still no such luck. there are a couple other codes on the rpo sticker that i have not been able to decode. They read BC/CC at the bottom left of the sticker, U9567 at the bottom center, and Model 2F587 at the top right. i am just trying to find out as much information about my car that is possible. any input will be greatly appreciated.

It's difficult to decode all the RPO codes all the time. Some seem to get missed when they publish the lists. Maybe an "insider" might be able to assist more finding those unknown codes.

As for the BC/CC...that's stands for base coat/clear coat and the code after that is the paint color code.

6HB - COMPONENT FRT LH COMPUTER SEL SUSP (6HB)
7HB - COMPONENT FRT RH COMPUTER SEL SUSP (7HB)

Not as familiar with 4th gens as some others, but my guess is that it would break down like this:

2 - Country of origin (Canada)
            F - Platform (F-body)
            5 - Formula
87 - long time code for "2-door coupe"

I thought, that model code was universal. Ie, every 4th gen fbody had that code. Could be wrong though.
