  • How Come You LS1 Guys Haven't Done This?

Saw this on High Performance Pontiac's website. It's in a Goat, but I don't see why an F-Body couldn't be equipped with this.

It probably costs 15000 to do that to an LS1... which is more than most guys paid for their cars on this site...

2 reasons I haven't done it, A) I didn't know about it, and B) I don't have that kind of money, but if I did, you betcha!!!!

I dont even want to know how much that costs. And the reasons why us LS1 guys have not done it.... simple... same reason we dont have the 408 iron blocks with GMRs new Twin turbo set up, lol

$20,000 to buy one brand new. Not sure how much to do it to an existing block. Wouldn't it be nice if money wasn't a worry?

20,000? i think everyone would be swapping in LS7's instead. actually thats probably exactly why you dont see them, but ive seen quite a few ls7 swaps already.

Where? I though the Katech camaro was the very first LS7 swapped vehicle?

I believe GM did one too after katech, its flat black with flat black z06 wheels i think, he's probably referring to the Solstice as well and other cars non f-body

Mallet makes a LS7 Solistice. That's also pretty pricey though, so there aren't too many of them.
