ok so im gonna have my rearend rebuilt with 3.73's either this week or next week and i was curious if anyone had a programmer that i could use to have my mph adjusted for the new gears. Rick has a lt1 hypertech programmer that he said i could use if it would work, but neither of us know if it will or not. Anybody know if an lt1 programmer will work on an ls1 car?

Flash programmers are specific for years and can only be used on one vehicle at a time.
Just my $.02 but I would have a local tuner reprogram the Speedo.

Find someone with EFI live or HP tunes and ask them to hook it up. It's usually cheaper than going to a speedshop

Most speed shops will correct speedo's, delete codes for EGR and AIR and all that fun stuff for like $75.

ok that doesnt sound too bad....the shop doing the work said that he has a guy that does some work off of a laptop and he may be able to correct it which would be free. If not i guess ill be paying the $$ to get it fixed.
