  • More great F-body news

    Basically-

-My car burns a quart of oil every 100 miles (looks like a Duramax when I go WOT)
-Is coming apart this week some time

If this doesnt qualify as fail, I don't know what does.

I'm guessing the valve seals are shot or they cut the heads wrong.

Ahhh well, maybe one of these years I can finally get the A/C hooked up

Valve seals usually only make the car smoke on startup - or that's what mine did when they were bad.

But my valve guides were also shot, so it went through another set in a year.

I was thinking valve guides/seals mainly because it smokes a lot more after you add some oil to it.

Somewhat. It has oil-fouled the plugs a few times now.
