lt1 missing

My car is really hard at starting but once it gets started it runs good until it warms up then it start to get a miss.I'm thinking it maybe has a week fuel pump in it or i might have a bad injector. Does anyone have any other idea of what it could be.

i just put ngk v power and msd 8.5mm wires on it plus i checked them today to make sure they all were on the car good and the fuel pump seem to be getting good fuel pressure when i checked it.

Sounds like the Opti could be going.

Is your MAF dirty?
Could also be the IAC not working right?

In addition to Kyle's questions, is it throwing any codes? Try scanning it? Sometimes a DTC error can show up but it won't throw a Service Engine Soon light.

first off get rid of the ngk v powers and put in ngk tr55. u probably have an opti problem because mine did the same. runs fine cold but starts missing when it warms it. i did way with the opti and just installed the ls1 pcm conversion. car starts up and runs amazing.

the car has 140,000 miles,ill check the maf out but i don't think it dirty, its the original opti with with a new cap and rotor on it.Could it possibly one of my injector dirty and just need some fuel system cleaner or does it sound more like the opti cause almost everyone is sayin that.lol

dont put any fuel system cleaner in there. i can guarantee its not an injector. if it was it would miss more when its cold considering the engine is demanding more fuel. does the car seem like it starts to cutout or backfire when it starts missing? also look and see if the waterpump weap hole is leaking or if there is any coolant or oil on the opti itself.

no it dont cutout or backfire it just a slight miss it not to bad at all but def a miss.i did have a hose break and antifreeze went everywhere.it is hard starting when it cold but once you get it started in runs good then once it warms up it starts good but it has slight miss

well best thing to do before you touch anything on the car is get a scanner on it and watch all your data. like mentioned earlier look for codes that didnt set a light but could be saved in the computer. dont waste your time or money guessing. tryin and pinpoint the problem first or atleast get yourself in the right direction.

let us know what you find! lately my formy does same thing when cold starting cranks 3-4 time then fires up doesn't want to idle then after couple minuites its fine. On accel there is a miss till it warms up then ok.
