?? ram air kit / cold air kit ??

didnt realy know were to post it.. lol..
k this is what i have and want to do.. i have a 94 lt1 that i am just finishing up doing a conversion to the new stlye t/a dont have the hood yet but done with most everything else..
wanting to ram air it like the ws6 ls1 or firekawk i had a firehawk and soo luv the hood i see a guy that makes one like it with the heat extractors in it and the two bigger snorkels insted of four runs for abot 250.00 on ebay he says that they can open the snorkel but?? what about rain?? anyone now if it would get wet in there??
and the other thing is what is the best ram air or cold air set up u can get at a good price..?? that works the best??
i still have the lid from my firehawk should i use it or not..?? cuz i put a slp lip on it before i sold it?? lol kinda a dumb ? i guess cuz if i took it off my firehawk to put a better one on why would i use it now ..lol

im not sure what all i will need?? any comments or answers would be cool tks..

My car has an aftermarket ramair setup. The nostrils are not simply opened up, there is a lot of baffling in the hood to keep water from going in. You can see pics of it in the link in my sig.
