  • Weight.

Anyone ever weigh their car? I'm going to toss mine on my buddies scales when I get the car to his shop, but just seeing if anyone has weighed theirs? My buddies turbo Civic weighed in at 1900lbs with him in it . And my brothers MR2 weighed 2450.

3680 with me in it, not a single weight reduction mod at all, I even leave the spare and jack in it at the track.

its only a roll bar(chromoly). it has every option except TCS. double diamond SFC, 12 bolt, 6 point, huge rear sway bar,

mine was 3670 w/driver 2 years ago 3490 w/out driver and no junk in trunk(some of the bigger tracks have scale on return road if you get a chance to run)put stuff in and taken stuff out since and for weight every 100 lbs. saved = about a tenth of a second in quarter mile.

I"ll be removing some stuff when I'm on the scales. I'm also looking to delete some more stuff.

I've always been curios what my car weighs as well. I'm going to guess very close to joels, maybe a little bit lighter. Anyone know what the GVWR on the sticker on the door of the car is? I thought that was weight, but we looked at Davids and it said something like 4300 lbs lol.

gvwr is not the weight of the car. its the max it can weigh with passengers and cargo
