    does it have an egr?
dave told me someone asked about ls1's
I thought it was another person that stopped by my house though
This a 2002 motor so all it has is the AIR pump no egr. I didn't get a chance to check my vacuum lines today or change the pcv valve, so hopefully tomorrow.

You can get a custom tune if someone knows what they are doing, and that will adjust the a/f ratio to a safer condition and not throw codes. That is the thing with aftermarket maf's, they lean out for the claimed power gains but most stock tunes cannot handle it and that is why I have a slp unit laying in my garage myself. The stock maf can handle 500hp but we all get suckered in to the hype.

Haha damn marketing! But the maf came with the motor so that's what I have to deal with. One of my buddies said he could tune it for me, but I'd rather go with stock since everyone has been saying it can handle 500 hp

Awesome on the swap, I finished mine up about a month ago. Did you do headers or anything? Wasnt your car an auto before, or am I wrong?

I have a stock LS1 MAF sitting in my garage on top of my tool box right now(I went 85mm). I think we could work something out.

I was going to call you today to see how it went, but got busy. Glad it worked out!

Side note, thanks for the speakers! I swapped them in today, to my surprise neither of the stockers were working, amazing bass now compared to what I had, I actually had to turn it down, lol.
