Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

I have never seen the inside of a fuel injection system and not quite sure how it is set up but would a leaky oring on one injector cause both banks to run lean or is it just limited to the bank the injector is located.
Thanks in advance
2002 v6 camaro supercharged with a powerdyne pushing 12PSI, I also have an aluminum driveshaft, headers, high flow CAT, flowmaster exhaust, HP Tuners, AEM wideband, throttle body spacer, PCV bypass, cartech adjustable FMU, timing control module (wich I don't need now with HP Tuners but I am not going to spend the time to take it out), 3.23s with LSD, Spec stage 2 clutch, Exon (I think that is how you spell it) Ground effects, P&P throttle body, and GTP 36# injectors.
Well.....it depends on which O-ring is leaking. First off, let me say that it would have to be a very LARGE leak to have an effect of AFR. If the leak was at the top of the injector it "could" cause a fuel delivery for the entire motor. If the leak was at the base of the injector it will most likely effect that cylinder. But then again....I think we are talking a very severe leak to cause any real problems.....and then you need to worry about catching your car on fire before you would need to worry about AFR.
Well it only runs lean at idle. I have checked and double checked everytihng. The fuel pressure is 45psi, vacuum lines are good. There is alot of ticking coming from the injectors it gets loud enough when the engine is warm that I can hear it with the hood closed. Also there is a slight odor of gas to on the driver side.

Are you verifing this lean condition with a wideband? What kind of numbers are you seeing?
If the base o-ring of the injector is leaking it will most likely be a vacuum leak instead of fuel. A vacuum leak will cause a lean condition for that cylinder. How does the motor run?

Yes, I am verifing it with a wide band and also HP Tuners. The AFR maxes the gauge at start up and when it goes into closed loop it idles around 15.5 to 16.0 AFR. Also, this is with the stock tune and my idle is high while I am coasting with the clutch in but it goes down to normal when I come to a complete stop. So, it would need to ne more than one injector if that was the problem becasue both banks go lean at the same time. The problem is mostly at idle. But now I have my MAF adjusted to richen out the car and now it runs good but now and then at idle the AFR will go from 14.7 to 17.0 for a couple of seconds and then back down to 14.7 again.
