probably a sensor. My car did that and then ran like crap. I replaced the O2 sensor and it ran beautifully. Then I blew the #6 spark plug wire in 1/2 in two places. I could hear the damned thing arching off the firewall all the way home...

My "Sorry You're ****ed Light"... a.k.a Service Engine SoonOriginally posted by TSTONE View Postwhich light came on?
I'm not yanking that bastard out unless I get major problems, I'm just saying my car is getting old and with my luck this is going to be something bad. Good news though is the light hasn't been on in two days so maybe it was just a flukeOriginally posted by meissen View PostAgreed with Joel - just because it's nearing the 100k mark you shouldn't be yanking the motor out. Hell, I know a guy on LTxTech that has 5x,xxx on the motor and he already spun a bearing. Could definitely be a number of things. Next time the SES light comes on, go to Autozone and have them scan your car so you can find out what code it is.1994 Z28 Black, M6, Hardtop, SLP Loudmouth I, GM Performance Cold-Air Intake, 96-97 SS spoiler, 17" x 9.5" Chrome Z06 Motorsports, Longtubes
