My car has around 99,6XX miles on it, and when I was driving around today the "Sorry You're ****ed" light came on my gauge cluster... Hopefully it isn't anything serious. I changed my oil today and after i restarted it, the light wasn't on but I have a feeling I haven't seen that last of it...

Who knows but they do say soon as your car hits 100K miles things tend to die. And my car at 133k has seen many many many Replacements.

Agreed with Joel - just because it's nearing the 100k mark you shouldn't be yanking the motor out. Hell, I know a guy on LTxTech that has 5x,xxx on the motor and he already spun a bearing. Could definitely be a number of things. Next time the SES light comes on, go to Autozone and have them scan your car so you can find out what code it is.- Brian Meissen

But it is probably something simple like an 02 sensor...

Not buying that.Originally posted by Kwazrollinz28 View Post...Who knows but they do say soon as your car hits 100K miles things tend to die.....
My Iroc had 200k on it and ran fine before it got a neww engine cuase I wanted more power. My 1992 cutlass has 220k on it and I drive it 60 miles a day with no issues. Most cars die from lack of maintenance.

I'd have to agree with that. A poorly maintained car will die with maybe 100k miles on it while a properly maintained car might last 250k miles. It just depends. And just for shits and giggles what kinds cash would one throw down for a ls1 to be bored to a 383?Originally posted by WMCC Gary View PostNot buying that.
