  • LT1 plug wires

I'm looking for a set of Plug wires for my Lt1 since my current ones may be new but i don't think there giving my engine the spark it wants.

    I am looking at these
    http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/40225/10002/-1

I wish they were not yellow though, I'd like blue or black if possible.

but the one thing i cannot find Is the part that makes the wires go on top of the valve covers, those clips that screw into the top of the valve covers.
and hold the wires in place. anyone know where i can find those?

And if anyone knows of some really GOOD wires that will match my Blue engine bay and black motor.

just do lt1 relocation on msn search, have to look at alot but..... its hard to run them across the top then bring them down under the headers, need extra long wires.

No problems here with OTVC. I bought mine from a guy on LS1Tech that custom makes them to length. I asked him for ~4" extra so I wouldn't have any issues with the canton valve covers. Works great. He only has red or black, though.

Shoot Creight a PM and ask him if he might have anything that'll work.

thats the only way i would buy OTVC ever again is if they were pre-made and tested by someone else. cutting and crimping boots is where i did some damage to my MSDs.... and i was being using the utmost precaution.

I saw go the route either Brian or Kyle did (on reds car) I loved the way Brians looked when I saw it out on Woodward and that picture above of reds car is hot! Looks really good I'd look into those.

If you're OK with black, send a PM to 99blancoSS on LS1Tech. He'll custom make you some wires.
