  • Ordered an S60 today :D

Finally sold my winter beater so I had enough money to order my new S60. Getting it built with 4.10 gears, True-trac posi, and ABS provisions. Hell of a deal at $2448 with tax, out the door!

That's awesome! I saw your car sold so I was thinking when we would hear about the new rear! Take pictures when it arrives!

I'll be picking it up, actually. It's getting built at DTS in Ionia.

A similar 9" would have cost me about $500-800 more, actually. I priced them out. To get 35 spline axles, a posi, and 4 channel ABS on a 9" is expensive.

I haven't decided on a driveshaft yet, still shopping around on that. I was thinking Denny's Driveshaft, but if anyone has any sources I could check out, let me know.

Personally I didn't think keeping the TC and ABS was worth the extra money. My car is almost never driven in the rain. I bought my 9" with 35 spline axles and a locker for $2250 out the door.

I just like having it... on an S60 it doesn't add too much expense - I think it was $100 additional.
